PIG ROAST FAQs

  1. What is included in a basic wristband? The basic wristbands will include entrance to the venue, photo ops, live DJ entertainment, mini pig roast samplings and ability to vote for the swine contest. Vendor Marketplace, food trucks, and additional fun will be available.** the basic wristband does not allow access to any rides or the beverage Truck. **
  2. Can I buy single ride or single drink tickets? NO! Single ride or single drink tickets will NOT be sold. Only all-access wristbands will have access to rides and beverage truck. 
  3. Do I need a wristband just to take my kids? YES, everyone needs a wristband to enter. All adults, all volunteers, all vendors, and all kids over age 2 need a wristband. There is a basic option and an all-access option. Please review details and inclusions to decide which is best for you and your family. 
  4. What is included in the all-access wristband? The all access wristband will include everything in the basic entry PLUS unlimited rides for kids and adults, unlimited refills on refreshments from the beverage truck (while supplies last),  and more! 
  5. What rides will be available? There is a variety of rides for all age groups, including a rock wall race, obstacle course inflatable, giant fair slide, a toddler zone. 
  6. Can we bring friends that don't attend SoBay? Yes, SoBay friends and families are welcome! While this is primarily meant to be a SoBay community event, we would love to meet and mingle with your family and friends - maybe some future SoBay Dolphins! This event is NOT open to the general public
  7. Will parking be available? Yes, Kendall Indian Hammocks Park has plenty of parking. But as always, carpooling and Uber are recommended for easy in and out. 
  8. Will there be food? Yes. In addition to the pig roast contest and samplings, there will be a variety of food trucks for separate purchase. Check @sobaypto on instagram for updates on specific vendors and food trucks joining this year's event.
  9. Is this a private event or open to the public? This is a private event for our SoBay families and friends ONLY. We have a full park buyout (meaning there will be no other parties or events onsite that day); however, Kendall Indian Hammocks is a public park.  ** Guests of our event will have designated wristbands to ensure we have a private community event. Anyone without a wristband will be asked to leave our event and may enjoy other areas of the park.
  10. What should we bring? Nothing! This is intended to be a full-on family fun day. You can bring your own chairs and blankets, but no coolers will be allowed onsite. (Only registered pig roast teams will be allowed coolers for transporting their ingredients)
  11. Will wristbands be available at the door? As with most SoBay PTO events, we expect to sell out and tickets will likely not be available at the door. Do not delay and get your tickets today - this is sure to be another one to enjoy and remember!
  12. I have a BASIC wristband, but I want to enjoy the ALL-ACCESS perks. Can I upgrade? Yes, please email sobayptoboard@gmail.com for details on how to upgrade.
